Umlando wesibongo sakwa Zulu

Isibongo sakwaZulu sasingaziwa ngaphambi kweminyaka yawo-1600, ngoba ngaleso sikhathi yayingaziwa indaba yesibongo. Kwakusagqame ukufuduka kakhulu. Lesi sibongo sivela kumaNtungwa Nguni. Lokho kusinikeza umqondo wokuthi lesi sizwe sivela eNingizimu neNtilasifali, njengoba cishe sonke sazi ukuthi onke amaNtungwa Nguni akhe kwelaseNatali aqhamuka kulesi sifunda. Lapha sizogxila kakhulu kuMalandela okunguyena okunguyena nzalabantu, nokunguyena okugxile kuyena umlando walaba bantu bakwaZulu ngesibongo hhayi ngobuzwe.

UMalandela kaLuzumane

UMalandela kuthiwa uzalwa nguLuzumane kaMnguni kaGumede. Wayakhe laphaya ngaphesheya komfula uMhlathuze egqumeni elaziwa ngokuthi kuseMandawe. Wakha umuzi wakhe wawubiza ngokuthi kusoDwini. Sengathi yilapho aze akhothamela khona eshiya amadodana akhe agqamile okwakunguQwabe omdala ,nomnawakhe uZulu esandleni sikaNtombela kanye nondlunkulu wakhe uNozinja(UMaGwabini).Ngaphandle kwasOdwini , iNgonyama uMalandela yaphinde yakha inqwaba yemizi, esingabala iZimpungutshana, Ophindweni, kwaNkomonye, Ndlovana neminye… KwaNkomonya manje kwaziwa ngokuthi kukwaNobamba

UZulu kaMalandela

Ekukhothameni kukaMalandela kwasala kwaba nombango phakathi kukaQwabe nomnawakhe uZulu(lawa amadodana kaMalandela kaLuzumane). Imbangela yengxabano kwakuyizinkomo eziyinyoni kayiphumuli okwakungezikaNozinja, unina wabo.

Lezi zinkomo ezibangwayo kwathi ngesikhathi uMalandela esekhona undlunkulu wakhe kwakungumuntu okhuthele kakhulu. Wayethi uma enza imisebenzi yezandla abayifunayo babemnika izimbuzi, yena azishintshise uma seziziningi ngezinkomo. IsiZulusithi inkosana kama indodana encane. Nakho-ke noZulu wayeyinkosana kanina uNozoinja. Ngalokho-ke uNozinja wasikela indodana yakhe encane uphawu kuzo zonke lezi zinkomo zakhe kanye nezimbuzi. (Phela kuthiwa uQwabe wayengenandaba nemfuyo, waye khonze kakhulu ukuzingela). UQwabe njengendlalifa kayise uMalandela wayelindele ukuthi uzodla konke okuyifa likayise ebala nezinkomo zikanina. Indaba izosuka ngesikhathi sekukhothama uMalandela, lapho uQwabe esefuna ilingelo lakhe lobukhosana, kwaphinda esika-Esawu noJakhobe basendulo, ngoba watshelwa ngunina ukuthi konke kungokwakhe lokho obekungokukayise kodwa hhayi lokhu okungokwakhe ngoba lokho kuyifa likaZulu amabela lona ngoba engenakuthola lutho efeni likayise. Ngakho-ke bonke abantu abasala noZulu eBabanango bazibiza ngokuthi bangabakwaZulu. Kwase kungukuzaleka kwesibongo esidume kakhulu sakwaZulu. Nendawo ababakhe kuyo yabizwa ngokuthi yindawo yakwaZulu. uPhunga noMageba

Mhlawumbe uyazibuza ukuthi ngobani uPhunga noMageba? Lawa ngamadodana kaZulu awashiya emhlabeni wakwaZulu sebeyisizwe sakwaZulu, hhayi isibongo nje. uPhunga noMageba babengamawele, uZulu wawathola kuNdlovukazi uNozidiya. Kwase kuqala ukuba kube namakhosi abusa izizwe zizimele futhi. Kula madodana kaZulu, uPhunga akabanga naye ozomlandela ozalwa nguyena, ukuthi kwakwenzenjani -nathi kasiqondi, kodwa isikhundla sakhe sathathwa ngumnawakhe uMageba.Okubaluleke kakhulu ngoMageba ukuthi olibeni kuphume esinye isibongo esagcina naso sesisikhulu kakhulu. Leso yisibongo saseMambatheni, ngendodana yakhe uMpangazitha, uyise kaSontshikazi, uyise kaNdaba, uyise kaShandu. INgonyama uNdaba kaMageba

UNdaba yindodana kaMageba okwathi esekhome yathatha isihlalo sakhe sobukhosi. Esikutholayo ngoNdaba kaMageba ukuthi nguyena owaqala ukuzwakala ngokubuthwa kwamabutho. Sizwa ngebutho lakhe okwakuthiwa ngaMankankane, kanye nelinye okwakuthiwa ngaGwadlu. Esikuzwayo futhi ukuthi wayengagcini eyinkosi nje kuphela kodwa wayebuye abe yinyanga yezulu. Kuthiwa kwakuthi uma kunesomiso kuhaywe ihubo likaNdaba elalithi:

‘UNdaba uyiNkosi!’
Oho! O! Ha! Oye! ha!
Jijiji! Ajiji!

Bathi noma kanjani lalina izulu siphele isomiso. Bathi yinsizwa eyayinobukhulu ubuhlakani, kanti nasebusweni ibukeka. UNdaba wakha imizi yakhe eminingi , kodwa mibili eyayibalulekile, kwangowaseMqekweni(owasendlunkulu) kanye nowaseGazini yilapho okwakubulawelwa khona izinkomo uma kunemikhosi komkhulu. Laphaya emzini waseGazini inkosana yakhona kwakunguXhoko, bekanye noShwankeni owazala indodakazi uNtopho,yena owazala uMehlana uwagcina egane uSenzangakhona kaJama. Kulo muzi waseGazini kwaphuma abaseMgazini(oNtshangase noBiyela). Siyobuye ngokugana kwendodakazi kaNtopho uMehlana igana uSenzangakhona , kodwa bezalana.

UNdaba emzini wakhe waseMqekwini uzale uJama kuSithuli kaNkombane waseMambatheni. UNdaba wakhothama ebuse isizwe sikayise ngobukhulu ubuhlakani. Bathi kayikho inkosi kwangaphambi kwakhe eyayinobuhlakani njengoNdaba kaMageba, kaZulu , ngoba siqala nokuzwa ngaye ngokubuthwa kwamabutho, okusho ukuthi wayesenempi ehlelekile. Wakhothama uNdaba washiya indodana yakhe uJama owayengowendlu enkulu, ngakho-ke noma emncane ngokuzalwa kodwa ngokwendlu nguyena owaba nelungelo lokuthatha ubukhosi emva kukayise.

oMmama noMkabayi bakaJama

INgonyama uJama kaNdaba bathi kwakungumuntu omfishane kodwa okhuthele, ozazisayo. Bathi ngumuntu owayenolaka, eshesha ukucasuka. Wayengenandaba namuntu. Bathi wayethanda ukudlala ngomkhonto. Wayekukhonzile ukuciba kangangokuthi esabusa wayedlalela nasekucibeni abantu bakhe. Kwaze kwakhuza amadoda amadala, wawuyeka ke lo mkhuba uJama.

Ngiqale ngokukhuluma ngeSilo uJama kaNdaba ngoba phela kunguyena yise kaMmama noMkabayi. Lezi izintombi zazingamawele. Ngokwesiko lesiZulu ukutholakala kwamawele kwakusho omkhulu umkhokha ngakho kwakufanele elinye lamawele lendiswe. Manje umuntu okwakufanele akhiphe izwi kwakuyinkosi uqobo. Wabikelwa uJama ngalokhu kwasengathi uyakuzwa konke abakushoyo. Kuthe sekufika izwi lokuthi asho phela ukuthi ngumuphi umntwana ozigingiswa igade,wacela ukuba balethwe kuye azobabona bese esho ukuthi kubulawa muphi kulaba bantwana.

Esikhundleni sokuthi asho okulindelekile wawaqamba amagama amawele. Okwakufanele ligingiswe, waliqamba ngokuthi nguMkabayi kwathi leli elinye wathi nguMmama, ngoba lalizothile kanti udadewabo wayenamehlo ephapheme, athi uma ebuka ngawo uyise washintsha isnqumo sakhe.

Kwenzeka insambatheka ngesikhathi isizwe silindele isinqumo seNkosi ngengane okufanele igingiswe kodwa uJama evele ekhipha izwi lokuthi akukho ngane yakhe ekufanele lokho. Ngamanye amazwi wayethi akukho ngane yakhe ezobulawa. Kwala noma izikhulu zezwe kanye nabafowabo oNkwelo noMhlaba bembonisa ukuthi lokhu kuzodala umkhokha ezweni, lutho kwaba bazishaya ngendlebe etsheni. Wabatshela ukuthi nguyena iNkosi futhi abantwana ngabakhe ngakho akukho muntu ozomtshela ukuthi akenzenjani. Uma kukhona umkhokha ongahle uvele uzovelela yena. Okubuhlungu ukuthi umshophi kawuvelelanga yena kodwa wavelela uNdlunkulu wakhe , ngokuthi wedlula emhlabeni washiya la mawele akhe.

Singasho ukuthi kwaba yinduku lena eyagqema udume olukhulu ekhanda likaJama. Wafa olwembiza ngoba okhothama nje uNdlunkulu akashiye mfana ozoba yindlalifa.noma umuntu oyobusa esikhundleni sakhe uma esekhotheme yena. Kwamhlopha lokho uJama kodwa kwaficakala ukuthi amazwi athi isalakutshelwa sibonwa ngomppho, kufanele awagwinye eshisa, umntakaNdaba. Neminyaka yayithanda ukuhamba kufanele iNkosi iganwe. Ukuze phela kutholakale umfana oyothatha isikhundla sokubusa izwe uma yona isikhotheme. Kwasuka oMkabayi noMmama baqonda endodakazini kaManyelela wakwaSibiyawayoyeshela ukuba izogana uyise. Noma lentombazana yayindala kunoMkabayi kodwa babengabangani abakhulu. Kuthiwa wavumela phezulu uJama ngesikhathi amadodakazi akhe emethulela lolo daba.. Le ntombazana igama layo kwakunguMthaniya. Ngenkulu inhlanhla uMthaniya wafika wamzalela indodana(indlalifa) , kuthiwa wabonga kakhulu uJama wathi ”bantabami nenze ngakhona ngokungilandela umntakaZingelwayo(uyisemkhulu kaMthaniya) ukuba azongizalela iNkosana. Wayiqamba indodana ngokuthi nguSenzangakhona.

Phela uSojiyisa akuyona indodana kaJama, kuthiwa weza ethwelwe ngunina, intombazana yaseButhonga. Kuthiwa yabonwa ngababheki besigodlo ukuthi izithwele, kwamphatha kabi uJama kodwa wathi ilungile mayilethwe esigodlweni nesisu sayo. Phela wayengakafiki uMthaniya leso sikhathi, ngakho uJama wayesashaywa yisizungu.

INgonyama Senzangakhona kaJama

Kuthiwa izikhulu zakwaZulu kanye nesizwe sonke kwaziphatha kambi ukungatholi kukaJama inkosana. Kodwa abantu kambi kakhulu kwaba ngamadodakazi kaJama oMkabayi kanye nodadewabo(-wele lakhe) uMmama,ikakhulukazi uMkabayi ngoba phela nguyena okwakufanele agoduswe kodwa uyise wamvikela esikhundleni sakhe kwakhothama unina amthandayo. Phela uMkabayi noMmama babengamawele, ngokwesiko lesiZulu ukutholakala kwamawele kwakusho omkhulu umkhokha ngakho kwakufanele elinye lendiswe(libulawe). Odabeni lokaMmama noMkabayi nguMkabayi okwakumele agoduswe kodwa uyise uJama wenqaba naye. Lo mkhokha wagcina udle undlunkulu kaJama, nguyena phela owagcina ekhotheme washiya uJama engenayo inkosana.

Kwasuka uMkabayi benoMmama baqonda endodakazini kaManyelela wakwaSibiya bayoshelela ukuba izogana uyise. Kuthiwa oMkabayi noMmama babethanda lo dade, bemthandela ukulunga kwakhe, noma nje lo dade wayemdala kunabo. Le ntombazane igama layo kwakunguMthaniya Sibiya. Kuthiwa uMthaniya wayengomunye wezintombi ezazizimisele (engaqomile) elindele ukuthi abazali bakhe bamemulise. Kodwa abantwana benkosi balubeka lonke usizi lokushiywa ngunina bacela ukuba azobabheka njengonina wabo. Bathi inkosi uJama kayinanazanga yamvumela phezulu, wagana kanjalo ke uMthaniya egana iNgonyama uJama.

Isifiso sabantwana benkosi sasheshe saphenduleka ngoba uMthaniya wakhulelwa wazibula ngomfana. Umuntu owajabula kunabo bonke waze wakukhombisa ngezenzo kwaba yinkosi uqobo. Kwathi lapho sekufike isikhathi sokuthi imethe igama yabiza amadodakazi ayo yathi, iwancoma,’Nenze ngakhona bantabami’ ngokungilandela umntakaZingelwayo(uyisemkhulu kaMthaniya) ukuba azongizalela umuntu engiyothi sengiphumulile, asale abheka isizwe sikababa. ‘ Wayiqamba indodana yakhe ngokuthi nguSenzangakhona ethi nenze kahle bantabami. Kuthiwa izwe lonke lakuthokozela kakhulu ukuzalwa kukaSenzangakhona. Ingakho nje uMthaniya ehlonishwa kangaka kwaZulu, kwaze kwathiwa nezwe elikaMthaniya kuze kube manje, ngoba ebe ngunina walo walizalela inkosi(indlafa).

UMthaniya waphinda wayizalela inkosu indodakazi uMawa. Ekukhothameni kukaJama, uSenzangakhona wayesemncane ukuthi angathatha isihlalo sobukhosi. Wase ebanjelwa ngudadewabo uMkabayi kaJama. Kwaze kwathi esekhulile uSenzangakhona wathatha ubukhosi kodwa kuthiwa uMkabayi wayebelusile ubukhosi.

Kuthiwa uSenzangakhona wayengumuntu olungile, futhi iyinhle le nsizwa. Yokho yaganwa kakhulu nje.

Amakhosikazi kaSenzangakhona

Indlovukazi yakhe yokuqala uMkabi wayenendlu yakhe eyaziwa ngokuthi kukwaNohini. Kuthiwa londlunkulu wazala ingane yokuqala yashona wase elandelisa ngentombazane egama layo kwakunguNozinhlanga kulandelwa umfudlana wakuleyo ndawo okuthiwa uMzinhlanga ongenela eMpembeni. UMkabi uzalwa nguSodubo wakwaNzuza.

Unkosikazi wesibili kaSenzangakhona kwaba nguFudukazi, uMaCele. Yena-ke akatholanga mntwana.

Unkosikazi wesithathu kwaba yintombi yaseLangeni uNandi, ozalwa nguBhebhe wasemuzini waseBozeni, kunina uMfunda wakwaQwabe. Yena wazala uShaka(”inkom’eyakhal’eMthonjaneni izizwe zonke zayiz’ukilila’) kanye nodadewabo uNomcoba.

Inkosikazi yesine nguLangazana indodakazi kaGubeshe wakwaGazu. Yena wazala indodana eyodwa egama layo kwakunguMagwaza, noma uNongqobo. UMagwaza wafela eNcome empini kaZulu namaBhunu ngesikhathi sikaDingane.

Unkosikazi wesihlanu. Kwaba nguMzondwase, wakwaZungu owaba ngunina kaMhlangana owakha itulo noDingane lokugodukisa iLembe(uShaka), kanti naye uzofela emhlangeni ngenxa yetulo elase liboshwe nguDingane kanye noMkabayi.

Unkosikazi wesithupha nguMpikase, indodakazi kaMlilela waseMaqungebeni. Lona-ke ngunina kaDingane (u’Mbombsh’omnyama umgabadeli owagadel’inkundla yakwaBulawayo”) owalandela uShaka ebukhosini bukaZulu.

UMpande welanywa yindodakazi uNozicubu, waphinda wazala uNzibe owabulawa yombo ngesikhathi impi kaShaka iyohlasela oBhalule. Unkosikazi weshumi nanye(11) kwaba nguNcaka indodakazi kaMncinci inkosi yakwaQwabe. Yena wazala uindodana egama layo kunguKholekile, owabulawa ngamabhunu eNcome kanye nomfowabo uMagwaza ozalwa nguLangazana, ngesikhathi sempi kaDingane namabhunu, ngo-1838 eNcome.

Unkosikazi weshumi nambili(12) nguMahlana indodakaziNtopho waseMgazini indodakazi kaNtshwankeni kaNdaba.

Ayemaningi amanye amakhosikazi kaSenzangakhona. Kanti amadodana akhe kwakunguGujwana, Sigwebana, Mfihlo, Gqugqu kanye noNxoshana. Kanti amadodakazi kwakungoNomanqe, Baleka(hhayi okaKhongolose ha ha ha) kanye noNomaklwa.
